A LITTLE MORE ABOUT

Marie Munier's World

Historical Jewelry

Lebanese born, Marie studied interior design at The Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts.
She takes her inspiration from the history of her ancestors, starting with her knowledg of prehistoric art. Marie traces its development to the Holy Land, often borrowing from the cultures of Mycenea and Greece to that of Byzantium and Persia. In her designs she uses precious and semi-precious stones as well as ancient coins, Roman and Phoenician glass. In fact, Marie developed a unique technique using 18 karat gold dipped into 22 karat gold that became her trademark. Her necklaces, rings and bracelets have a timeless quality that combines elements of ancient and contemporary history while fusing East and West.

It is all about

Flexibility & Versitality

We believe that jewelry is more than a simple adornment; it is a work of art that has a personality and life all of its own. It calls out to be worn in different ways and can be transformed according to mood or desire. Equally it inspires women to become artists in their own right, inviting them to interact in a unique conversation of personal style. Thus an earring can become a brooch, a necklace can be worn as a belt… this versatility is an intrinsic part of the Marie Munier charm.
